When it comes to clothes, food, whatever, are there certain brand name things you will only get? Im just curious

I only get green giant veggies... for obvious reasons.

No for the most part, if I like it and can afford it, I will buy it.

Yes, but usually only if I think they are better quality or taste. In terms of food, I ONLY eat Hellman's mayonnaise. I think the other mayo tastes so much worse that I would never spend less for it. Same thing with Heinz ketchup. In terms of clothes, I spend more on the staple items (coats, jeans, pants, etc.), but try to get cheaper trendy items that will go out of style more quickly (my poncho, etc...).

Same here.

As for food, I don't really buy a brand just because of how much they spend on marketing. It's all about ingredients and quality.

So I guess I'm somewhat label conscious. I DO love Coach too

I polled no, but then noticed FOOD was included and agree, would NEVER buy anything but Hellman's Mayo and am the same way about certain other food stuff.

Wardrobe wise, I only NEED to haev Nike's because they are the only sneakers that are comfy to me, otherwise, I don't think I own ANY clothing because of it's label.

from experience, certain brands are better. kleenex & puffs tissues for example are less scratchy than store brand.

Scotch brand box tape is much bett erthan Quiill's ( our supplier)--its sticks to the dispenser & its self.

I would never buy a brand just to say, ooh I have Calvein Klein Jeans! They just fit better & last longer than Old Navy Jeans for me.

I can't stand clothing & bags with logos or brand names on them. ( I mena big or all over, like that is the desing)

I am all about store brand headache drugs though!
there is SUCH a price differnce & all that is different is the coating & sometimes shape.

I'm not. There are certain brands I prefer, but it makes no real difference to me if I actually get them. My FH? He is a label-whore! And man, do I have some ridiculous stories about that!

Not very label concious in terms of clothes. I used to only wear Nike, but I really like New Balance now.

I am very particular with some foods. I only buy Jif peanut butter, Welch's grape jelly, Helleman's mayo, french's mustard, Kraft shredded cheese, only name brand ice cream and cereal.

I dont know if I am a label ho..but I am a quality freak. But I am loyal to certain brands for clothes like Gap, banan republic, BCBG, Tahari and max studio becasue I am petite and these clothes fit very well. Now the flip side is that I will but something that is not name brand as long as its durable..but I have a fetish for bags..I like dooney & bourke but thats becasue to me they have great quality and a wonderful repair program. However I will not run out and buy the trendy bags. So I am a label girl but not a junkie that buys it just because of a name..hope that makes sense.. And yes I am a food snob..I MUST have certain brands but thats purely due to taste buds

I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. As others have already said, there are certain brands of food, like heinz ketchup and hellman's mayo that I will not switch from. I tried buying generic tin foil and ziploc bags, but they were not as good as reynolds and the real ziploc or glad.

In terms of clothing, I don't go out and buy something b/c of the brand, and I also hate brandnames or logos on my clothing and accessories, but I try to stay away from 'lower end' products. There are certain stores that I don't shop at b/c the quality of the product is not as good.

I am not really label conscious. I guess I am 'quality' conscious as well.
As far as food, I'll get whatever is on sale as long as it doesnt look nasty and the nutritional content is the same.
For clothes, I get most of my stuff at Old Navy, H&M, NY & Co, becuase they are not too expensice and I like the way their clothes look.

When it comes to anything else, I will buy whatever is 'on sale' if I like it.

depends on what it is....heinz ketchup only, but I'll buy store brand french fries, I only like VS bras because of the fit. DH seems to only like American Eagle jeans.

Cleaning supplies, certain ones I'll do generic, paper goods, generic,....etc. Some products taste or perform better when it's a name brand.

usually no, but i'll will stick with certain brands. for instance, i will usually buy whatever chip or juice is on sale, but sometimes, certain brands are just better. like express and j. crew are better on my figure than target clothing, but believe me, i'm not a clothing snob...i just will stick with a brand if i looooove it. otherwise, it doesn't matter.

As far as clothes go, I will buy whatever I like. Food is another story. I only like Hellman's mayo, Heinz Ketchup, Solid white tuna.

Heinz ketchup
and Thomas's English muffins...

WILL NOT stray from these brands at all.
