your bridal party makeup or are you letting them decide if they want it or not so they can pay it themselves?
I was a bridesmaid a few years ago and the bride paid for our make up. I thought about doing this but after doing the math, it adds up to a pretty penny! Just wanted some insight on what you ladies were doing??

I'm not...too many people. I was just in a wedding and the bride didn't pay either. If they don't want to get their hair or makeup done professionally then they don't have to.

I’m definitely not paying for this. I’ve only ever gotten DOJ when I was a BM so that’s all my BMs are getting.
In fact, I’m in my best friend’s wedding next week and she just forwarded me the “Price List” for the salon she’s using for hair and makeup. No mention of paying for any of it. And, she isn’t giving us DOJ. Wonder if I’ll even get a gift…

I have eight girls. I did think about doing this as a gift, but I felt that I would rather get them something more personal that they can keep. I'm not making them get their make up professionally done, but they all want to.

i'm only paying for my sister (MOH) and mom...it gets pretty expensive paying for everyone!

I am not paying for it...I have 11 girls...can't afford that. And I have been in 4 other weddings and haven't gotten make-up or hair paid for.
I think its a REALLY nice thing to do, but not expected or anything.

i have been in 3 BP's and had to pay my own way on hair and makeup. it'd be great if I coudl afford it, but honestly, I am going to give them the choice to get it done, so I am going to have them pay (as of now haha - it might change if i win lotto haha)

I'm paying for my mom & 1 of my BM's (my bro's GF since she is traveling from Michigan) the other 3 girls can do whatever they want lol.

I'm not paying for it, but I'm not forcing them to get their makeup done professionally. But I do expect them to get their hair done and at least do their makeup nicely themselves. I've been in a lot of bridal parties the past couple years and none of the brides have paid for ours.

I wanna pay for hair and have them decide what they want to do for makeup. I prefer for everyone to have their hair nice and unfortunately can't pay for both :(
