If we stay in a hotel at all, it probably will not be the same as our guests...but I'm leaning towards not staying in one at all because I'm so skeeved by them!
ETA: hotel for guests will mostly be Holiday Inn Islip MacArthur, Hotel for us if at all Three Village Inn.

I 'm not a big hotel person either...would rather be at my own house if I have a choice, and I don't want to have to rush to check out!!!

Re: Are you ladies staying..
are alot of your guests staying at a hotel? we didnt have alot of OOT guests and even those who were OOT didnt all stay in the hotel where i blocked rooms since they had family here, and all our friends and bp most went home after since most of them lived about 20-30 mins away from RH. So bc of that dh and i stayed at a separate hotel by ourselves. Rh was in LI and we got a hotel room in the city and since our HM wasnt until 6 days after the wedding, we stayed there for 2 nights. It was great bc the next day we also went out to dinner and had a real nice day and after relaxed in the room watching movies and just having a nice time.
OUr wedding also ended at 1:30am and we left rh a little after 2am, i was getting ready from 10am that day so for 16 hours straight it was one thing after another and a very long day, i knew we didnt want to party after and just spend time alone. If wedding ended earlier then i wouldve done that. And no matter what i said i wasnt waking up early the next day for brunch so wasnt planning on doing that, and worked out since we didnt really have that many OOT guests

Re: Are you ladies staying..
We are staying tat the Fox Hollow Inn..for our guests I blocked rooms at the best western down the street from Fox Hollow.. i thought the Inn was too pricey and didn't want my guests, most of who are literally just crashing for one night, to have to pay so much for a hotel. The Inn has a breakfast buffett so i will be inviting all my guests staying at the Best Western to join us at the inn for breakfast the next morning.

We're probably doing that too because our honeymoon flight leaves at 6:00 something in the morning the next day!

Re: Are you ladies staying..
Yes, we most likely are. Although the place we booked for the reception has a room for us to stay in with a butler service and everything, we will most likely stay in the same hotel as the wedding party and other 'party' guests. We want to keep the party going so we will book a hotel where we can do that.. but haven't picked that hotel just yet... so or now I am going to notebook this post!! Thanks guys!

Re: Are you ladies staying..
We get a complimentarty room at East Wind. We upgraded it to a suite and i'm going to stay in it hte night before the wedding and get ready with my girls there the day of. Then we are staying that that night. Hoping to hang out with the BP in the bar after the wedding. Most of them are staying in the hotel and we're hoping to be able to do a brunch the next day.

Re: Are you ladies staying..
I guess we will see how many of our guests stay at the hotel. If there are only a couple we will probably stay at the Garden City Hotel or the Inn of Great Neck.

Re: Are you ladies staying..
FH will be in the hotel the night before the wedding with our guests. I'll be at my parents house.
The night of the wedding we'll both be at the hotel, but not sure how many of our guests will stay that night b/c many will have to be at work that morning.
