yea remember i got him one of those edible arrangements and sent it to his job and said
'what are your plans one year from now?'

nope FH doesnt believe in celebrating the date until we are married....we just went out to dinner that night...

i made FH his favorite kind of cake and decorated it with little signs that said one year to go and stuff and got him a card...nothing big.

We didn't get eachother anything, but we took a mini-vacation to Newport RI to just relax.

he surprised me by coming home from work early and we ate dinner and hung out together. no gifts though, it wasnt necessary.

Our one year mark was this past Friday. I typed up the words to our wedding song with a little note from me and framed it for him. It was just a little something that was thoughtful and recognized our one year mark til the wedding.

He bought me a dozen roses to celebrate the day.
