trying to match your dress to the BM dress or are you just going to go with whatever style you like the best independent of the other??

I'm going to try, I think it looks nice when the BM gowns compliment the bride's gown.

Well...my dress is almost a compromise between my girls' dresses. Three of them have straps, 2 of them are strapless, and mine is off the shoulder.....I would have LOVED my MOH to chose the off the shoulder BM style, but she ended up going strapless. Oh well.

My dress is Ivory strapless with a champagne color band around the top and bottom and my bridesmaids are wearing strapless champagne gowns that match my dress....I love it!!!

It would be nice if they matched my dress somehow but I'd rather get dresses that look great on them

I am going to try to match the material. I want the girls in chiffon because I don't think satin will match with my dress.
