Are you planning on staying in a hotel the night of your wedding?
We are having a day reception (our wedding will be over around 6). We are having an after party at my Future in laws. We weren't planning on staying in a hotel the night of the wedding...partly because we are having a day wedding. However some family members and friends can not believe we are just going back our apartment after the after party. What are your thoughts?

we're staying at the hotel but that's because we are all having an after party at the hotel bar following the wedding. If I was doing a day wedding, I'd save my money on the hotel and just stay at home haha..

Our reception ends at 1 am so no real after party and we are staying at a hotel. Many family & friends are staying to so they don't have to worry about driving. We have a shuttle

We haven't decided yet, but we also don't live together yet either....But I would say save the money and just go back to your apartment

We're staying at a hotel 5 blocks from our apt. FH thought I was nuts for booking it but I don't care it's our wedding night, plus we have friends and family staying there and we are going to party a bit when we get back to the hotel. We live in Long Beach and have a gorgeous ocean view from our apt and our hotel room isn't guaranteed ocean view but I don't dare tell FH that he would kill me

Fox hollow included it for us in our package but it was such a great thing to do. It made it feel like the party was still going and like you were on vacation. It was so nice to unwind in our hotel room, make a mess of it and not worry about having to clean it/cook the next morning!

We are probably going to stay at a hotel....I'm 99% sure. MY FMIL wants to get us a room at The Garden City Hotel which is really nice of her, but there's a Holiday Inn literally right next door to our venue. Might be more convenient. It will depend on how many guests we have staying overnight. I don't think there will be many.

We are also having a day wedding with the reception ending at 6pm. We have A LOT. Of out of town guests, which includes many of our family so we will be staying at the hotel with them the night of our wedding. Also, the after party is at the hotel so it just makes sense for us.

That's fine to stay in the hotel for a night..for big wedding day...Romantic and impressive.

This. And...our reception ends at 6, we will probably hang out at the hotel with the out-of-towners as we don't have enough $ for an after party, we are staying over at the hotel to have breakfast with them the next morning before they catch their flights back home. Some are coming as far away as AZ.

We're staying at a hotel b/c our family and friends are staying too for the after party, but even if we weren't doing anything after the wedding, I think we'd still get a hotel room. It's your wedding night!

We're staying at the hotel that all our family will be staying at. Even though it's a holiday inn, we can't go back to jersey where we live and I DEFINITELY do not want to go back to my parents' house on my wedding night We figured staying at the hotel makes it a little extra special.

Whoops! Now I remember what I was forgetting to ask. The woman at the front desk at CB thinks they don't do that anymore (a complimentary room at Inn at Fox Hollow) but she said to double check with Victoria, which I have yet to do.

When I met with Victoria November 2013 she most certainly offered a complimentary Room at the Inn at Fox Hollow. Definitely check with Victoria I was offerred it as well when I was venue hunting.

We are planning on staying at the hotel we want to do our block in. We aren't taking a honeymoon right away so it's our honeymoon night away from our everyday lives.

Oh thanks! We are calling her later tonight to set up a tasting so I will ask her then.

The inn at fox hollow is worth every penny!!! The rooms are luxurious, the beds are heaven and breakfast in the morning is outrageous!
