i would like to atleast for a little bit - the idea is to have the pictures done before (we have about 45 minutes or better between church and reception) however it will likely end up w/ photos taking up much of the cocktail hour and then FH and i just wanting a few minutes privacu together to revel in the moment.

i really want to! as long as pictures don't take too long.

and i can STILL make a grand entrance. they already saw me in my dress at the church, so what does it matter if they see me at the CH?

We will DEF be at our CH, we want to have the reception to PARTY, the CH is where we will get to say most of our hellos.

I said that I don't want to miss a minute, but we will probably miss the last 10 mins to be alone and get ready for our entrance. But, I want to do my greetings at the cocktail hour so I can dance at the reception the whole time.

Yes I am planning to attend. I would really like to get a majority of our 'rounds' done then so we can enjoy the reception.

I do not need the pomp and circumstance of a grand entrance. We will have already done the family and BP pictures before the guests arrived. I am paying extra for the sushi bar and mini lamb chops at the cocktail hour and I want to be there to eat them. Well, maybe not the lamb but the sushi? HELL YEAH!

I'd hate to pay so much and miss it! People don't start looking at their watches yet at the cocktail hour.

YES! We will definitely be at our CH, well prob half of it. We are taking pics before our ceremony since it starts late so that will be out of the way and we make a grand entrance into cocktail hr coming in on a yacht! It also gives us a chance to say our hellos to everyone so we can enjoy the reception!!

I was planning on it prior to our E-party....See we arrived a little late and there were so many people there already I just kept getting bombarded left and right. To this day I don't know who I said hello and talked to. I realized I wasn't cut out for that. I had to step out a couple of minutes and regroup. I decided right then and there that I CANNOT do that for the wedding. I feel like the reception will be a little different since you have so much else going on.

See this is how I always felt..but I see how hard it is to get to everyone so I wanted to see some people at the CH too..such dimemas

Doing our pix before the ceremony ......... we'll be at the whole cocktail hour. Don't think we're doing the introduction thing, at least the way it's usually done.

I am having an hour and a half CH just to be sure that I make it to some of it. I'm hoping to spend 15-30 mins. there. Then we'll sneak away for a few mins. for some alone time . . .
