Are you providing transportation for your bridal party?
FH and I are thinking of taking 'alone' pictures first and then meeting up with the bridal party.
I'm just thinking if we pick them up in a limo, how are they all going to get home after the wedding? We'll need to provide them with transportation then too?

No, you don't need to provide transportation home for the BP - They likely have dates coming who can drive or someone to pick them up.
I've never been to a wedding where transport was provided for the BP afterwards.

Half my bridal party is single and live in Manhattan. I'm pretty sure they are coming solo.
I have quite a few guests from Manhattan.
Am I expected to provide them with transportation?

How about after the RH?
My wedding is in Westchester. I doubt my NY guests would get a hotel room for after the wedding since it's only 20 minutes from the city.

I am going to have a lot of guests that live in the city as well, my wedding is in NJ (close to the George Washington). I was kind of concerned about this at first, but then I realized that it isn't really my concern how people get to and from the wedding, I can't worry about everyone. If I can find the money at the end of everything, I will hire a bus to and from the RH, but if not I'm sure there are taxi services that they can arrange if they do not want to stay in a nearby hotel.

we got a party bus for the BP. IT is so cool..it's like a club on wheels! There are 20 people but we got a 44 passenger so we can jump in on the way back along with our parents and the BP's dates. They charged $1600 for the first three hours (picking them up, bringing them to church, stopping for pics, and then to RH). They are leaving and coming back at the end of the wedding to drop us all back home to the after party. ($800)

Its a nice thing to provide it, but it is not expected or requiered. We are having everything in one place- ceremony, reception, and then blocked off rooms next door and at a hotel down the road which has a free shuttle. So we didn't have to get any limos or anything.

We didn't provide transportation home for the bridal party. They either dropped a car off at the Watermill the day before or arranged a ride home with friends or family. It wasn't a problem (at least not that I heard!)

I am in the same boat. I am hiring a bus from West Point Tours (my wedding is in Westchester) to take people to/from the reception. I can't worry about how the bridal party is going to get there though b/c they will have to get there earlier. As of now I do not think we are doing limos b/c our ceremony is at the RH.

oooooooooooooooh i didnt think about that! i think im gonna have all the girls spend the night at my house (my dad will love that!!! 9 girsl in the house) ill have toi think about that 1

I'm going to do that since most of them are from OOT and will be staying at a hotel and don't know LI very well! I am going to have the limo bring them to my house in the morning, and get some sort of bus shuttle thing for after the reception, maybe provided by the hotel... haven't figured it out yet!
