Are you sending out your invitations...

6 weeks before or a month before the wedding? I have heard both and I'm not sure which is correct.

I am doing 6 weeks, but its totally up to you.

I think I am doing 6-8 weeks becasue I have so many OOT people and that will give them a bit more time to remember to book the hotel

I'd like to get mine out beginning to mid-September cuz I'm neurotic. But we also have a lot of OOT, and our due date is 10 days prior, not like some halls where final count is only a few days prior. Hopefully they'll be done in time, I haven't even seen a mockup yet

i have a ton of out of town guests so we are sending out our invites April 1st with an RSVP date of May 15th that which is 6 weeks before the wedding...

We just sent them out about 9-10 weeks before the wedding, because we wanted to beat the holiday card rush and because our caterer actually needs to know a headcount about 10 days before the wedding (kosher catering, I guess they need to order food in advance).

I would do 6 weeks just in case you get some no's and you have people on a B list and they won't think they were on a B list when the invite comes 2 weeks before wedding..
