Your first dance with the bridal party, or will you be the one two on the dance floor for the entire first dance?

we did our first song alone, then had a second song where everybody was invited (parents and BP first, then everyone) - i liked being alone for the first dance, it was very special.

We're not doing a spotlight dance, so we will have the first one all to ourselves

I like jpsgirl's idea of the second song for everyone else.

we're going to be alone for the 1st dance. We've been taking ballroom dance lessons on and off since we first started dating, so we're going to show off

We're having the first dance (a waltz) choreographed. IMO dance lessons or a choreographed first dance is really impressive! (if you can drag FH to lessons and have the time and money!)

Our first dance we dance the first verse to ourselves then the Dj asked the parents to join us for the 2nd verse. Then he played the song over and had the BP joined us. It was like dancing to our song 2x. Wether you share the floor or not you will always be the center of attention. No one ever misses the girl in the white dress.

We are doing 2 songs as well. My whole feeling is that it'll be our first dance as husband & wife - I want it to be only us on the floor.........

Something I always wanted was for our first dance to just be by ourselves. Our song is so special to us and we want everyone to just be able to see that!

Plus, I also think it's awkward for the bridal party to have to dance with their 'partners' some of which barely know each other at times. I HATE that when I am in a wedding--having to slow dance with this stranger!! lol it depends on the bridal party though....
