Are you staying until the very end or leaving early?

The debate in our house is whether we are leaving the reception like 20 min early before everyone else or after everyone leaves. What are you all doing or have you done?

Are you staying until the very end or leaving early?

We plan on staying to the very end and have invited many people to come to the hotel with us for an 'after' party. Our reception ends at 5:00 p.m.! Just out of curiosity, why would you think of leaving early?

I am staying until they kick me out - hee hee!!!! Our reception doesn't end until 1 a.m. and we plan on staying to the very end.

Are you staying until the very end or leaving early?

FI has been to many weddings where they leave early, I have been to the opposite. I want to stay to the end but he thinks we should leave early because everyone yells goodbye and you leave on a high note. If you stay until the end, your leaving after everyone and its bittersweet. I want to stay :( He REALLY wants to leave early. Plus he doesnt want to get stuck in the caravan of cars leaving. But my thoughts are- we have a bottle of champagne and will be celebrating in the limo, do you think we will care if it takes and extra 15 min to get home?? And we are just going home...not rushing off to catch a plane then... But he doesnt believe me that people stay.

From what I have heard, your wedding day goes by so quickly, so I would want to savor every minute of it and like another bride said before --I'll stay until they kick me out!!

We are now staying :P

I spoke to the hall, videographer etc and they all told me the couple stays to the end so I told FI and we are staying. Just seemed so silly to leave early!! What is 15 min more?? Thanks for all your help!! 5 days left and one more thing done :P
