Are you supposed to fill out the M_______ part of the RSVP card?

Are you supposed to fill out the M_______ part of the RSVP card?

Where it says M____________________

Am I supposed to handwrite Ms. Smith and Guest?

Or is the guest supposed to fill it out and send it back to us?

I know I have lots of stupid questions. I just have no one else to ask.

I don't think you are suppose to because they might not be coming with a guest. Good question though because I was thinking the same thing!!

No the recipient fills it out.

What a lot of brides do is number the backs of these RSVP cards (numbering the guestlist as well) so that if a guest, does not fill in their info just checks 'yes' and mails it back to you, you can look at the number on the back and see what number it cooresponds to on your invite list.

No the guests complete that when they send back the response card.

I have a good tip for that which came from another website.... in case your guests forget to write their name on the card, and mail a blank one back

Put a discrete # in pencil on the back of the return envelope.... that way, you can track down the person.....

sorry, I didn't read the above post!

How do you make it discrete? Where do you put it?

i always read things like a day too late lol...This would've been a great idea...I was actually thinking about that today at work, i was saying how i hope people will actually write out their names instead of just putting a check.

you can make a tiny # on the back of the envelope on a bottom corner. alternatively, you can write in on the inside flap of the envelope somewhere.....

Less work for you. Let them write it in themselves
