I went to one where they gave out those cute monogrammed m&m's.

you dont have to. Ive seen some where they do a little something but nothing big. Also seen others where they dont.
For one RD i went to, it happened to be on halloween day so for everybody they had the chinese take out boxes with halloween colors and pumpkins on them and put candy and chocolates in theres. I also know this one person who did monogrammed cookies.
Not necessary, so nothing anybody should feel they have to do.
