I mean when you drop off your clothes and they wash and fold them for you. I never know what to do because when I pick them up there is always a different person there so how do I know who actually did my clothes?

I always wondered about that, one time I did and the lady looked at me like I had 2 heads, I'm not sure

I didn't until FH told me I should. A lot of single guys live in my neighborhood and bring their clothes to the laundrymat to be done so I know these girls are busy and they alwasys do a good job. I just never thought of it. Now I do and I give between $3-5 depending on how much. I assume they split the tips evenly among whoever worked that day, you can't do it otherwise if you don't know who did it.
By the way I am envious of how great they can fold clothes and keep them nice once I get the laundry back to the apt and take them out of the bag. Mine always comes unfolded in the bag! LOL

We usually tip a couple of dollars, especially if I have a special request like to hang up specific items. It seems to help when we need the laundry done quickly
