I have my final try on and pick up next week and i'm wondering if i am supposed to tip the seamstress. Did anyone do this?

good question... i was thinking the same thing. my seamstress was really sweet and very helpful and most importantly did a great job. i feel it would be the right thing to do, im not sure what a good amount is though..

I hadn't even thought about this, but I would say no-unless you really loved her and want to. then of course, it's fine if the shop allows it

I was undure about this one oo, so I wound up giving her a really nice bo-k of flowers. She seemed really pleased and surprised when I gave them to her.

I didn't. The whole tipping thing is just so out of control. They have a job, they do it, they get paid for it. Why do you need to tip them?

my seamstress has her own business, so I am not tipping.

I did. I thought that she did an amazing job with my dress - so I gave her $75 as a tip. Alterations were $295 as per the store.
