i hav eto say they did nothing for me...i thought they were very uncomfortable.... they flatten you out a little, but i didn't think they were anything special. i ended up getting a long line bra which did the trick and just wore my regular old cotton V-Secret briefs on the wedding day

I bought spanx for the wedding, but a girdle, not the stocking kind. I wore it to my shower and it was really comfortable. But it was $60. I think it was worth it though.

The same woman that makes spanx also makes assests which they sell at target for $20!!! I have a pair of both and there is no difference!!

Spanx and Assets are not the same quality IMO. A few people I know agree. I would sooner get Spanx at an outlet. I got a pair at Off 5Th Saks.

I swear by spanx and I'm totally wearing them under my dress. I really think that they are worth EVERY penny.
