while we are on the topic of surprising though i want to suprise my flower girl with a b day cake and sing happy b day to her during the reception.....

We're not getting any gifts for each other, we just bought a house 3 weeks ago and our paying for the wedding ourselves...those our the gifts!

We did that for my best friend at my sister's wedding- the pictures are so funny, she was so surprised. We have a lot of birthdays on our wedding too, so we'll probably get a cake for everyone as well.
As for my FH, I know that I want to surprise him with a groom's cake at the RD. I'm not sure what else though, I know I'll send over a card, but not sure if I'm going to be sending a gift with it.

It's not really a gift, but a great surprise I know he'll love. Bought a Pittsburgh Steelers garter, as that his favorite team! Sometimes it's the little things that matter most. I can't wait to see his face

I REALLY hope FH doesnt read these boards because I really want to surprise him with this...
I want to walk into the reception to 'The Streets Have no name' by u2 because thats what the Ravens run onto the field to and FH is a HUUGGGE season-ticket holding Ravens fan.
I honestly get chills when I listen to it on my mp3 player at thegym thinking about his reaction.

Im thinking of getting him a grooms cake during the RD, and also cufflinks asa wedding present ... white gold ones with maybe a couple of diamonds, and his initials engraved

i have been thinking of a few things
a Rangers groom's cake
a Ranger's garter ( definitely )
Season tickets to see the Rangers - only problem with this is that we are getting married in the middle of the season so i would have to get him an I O U for the NEXT season. . . i dont want to get them for THAT season bc he would have to miss games due to wedding planning, honeymoon, setting up the apartment etc.
um can you tell he likes the Rangers? lol

I'm going to get him a grooms cake for the RD and then probably pay for a deep sea fishing trip or some type of fishing trip for our HM. If we end up in Hawaii I might do something surfing related for him.

I'm gonna make him a picture slide show of us over nine years to one of our songs (it's not our wedding song b/c it's not really a slow song). I'll have it delivered to him on the day of our wedding with a note that will probably say '9 years down and a lifetime of love to go!' I'm such a mush!
