I ended up getting a 2 teir fingertip and am just gonna throw one teir over my face for the LONG walk! Couldn't imagine my daddy not lifting my veil.

same here! At first I wasn't going to, but the more I think f it, the more I like it... kind of romantic and dramatic

I couldnt picture myself in it (& still don't) and I was not planning on it until when i asked mom and she said my dad can't wait to lift the blusher up off my face & then give me away... after i heard that I said to myself ~ I just have tooooo....

he also requested a wear a pouffy dress when i almost bought a mermaid one so i had to give in on that too

I totally brought my dad when I picked out my gown!! I thought I was like the only girl who did that! LOL I kept asking him...'is it long enough, do you like it, does it fit, do you like this tiara, this veil...'

Yes...I like the traditional way of revealing the bride

I most certainly did! I had a cathedral lenght veil, with a blusher. After the kiss, the blusher flipped back into a fingertip lenght veil that I wore for through the first dance.

I loved my blusher! And I love the pictures with it. If you want my advice....wear one. Its the only day in your life you'll ever get to do it!

For me it was also religious. In the Jewish tradition, the groom covers the bride with the blusher before the ceremony, covering her face. It symbolizes protectiion.

I did too!! As a lil girl I used to wear my veil from my communion and got mad i couldnt wear a blusher that day...so i knew on my wedding i was! LOL

No for me, maybe if I was getting married in church I would go the traditional route. Then again I've seen so many brides fix their veil afterwards. I didn't want to deal with that.
