Re: Are you using a guestbook?
I like the idea of having a picture frame or the tree to hang on the wall to remember everyone. Although people may write great notes in a book, or with the wishing bowl, I'd look through it very rarely, and it would gather dust.
A bunch of the married ladies said that even when they had actual books not a lot of people used them and to save your money.

Re: Are you using a guestbook?
My friend did a photobooth at her wedding and it was AWESOME... It was kind of like a super creative guestbook. -- Everyone would go into the booth during the wedding and/or cocktail hour and take pics with each other. Then you get a copy of the photo reel yourself and the other copy goes into this guest book where you get to write something to the bride & groom with cool markers and things like that! They said they saw it when they got home and it was HYSTERICAL!

Re: Are you using a guestbook?
FH made a fingerprint tree on excel and we are having it print on an oversized sheet so we can frame it IMO guest books are cute but are basically dust collectors!
ETA: Another cute idea is to make like a coffee table book on snapfish of all pics of you and FH for ppl to sign; at least it will serve the additional purpose of being fun to flip through

Re: Are you using a guestbook?
I am getting a Mets hersey that is the number 12 and says Nader. I am going to frame it with a white border so that people can sign the white border. This way we can hang it up in our place after the wedding.
For us I didn't really want another book hanging around. I figured that a framed thing would be more useful.

Re: Are you using a guestbook?
I got a plate to everyone to sign, then you bake it and display it :)
I didnt want a guest book, cause i just dont think people sign em. Plus...then you just put it away.
I like the plate I got with the black design in the corner that I can display on a shelf or ledge
the plate i bought says “Life’s Greatest Pleasures Are The Memories Of Times Shared With Friends.”

I saw this idea before I think its really cute. Especially bc FH and I love to entertain, so it makes a really cool serving platter.

Re: Are you using a guestbook?
I am using a guestbook. My brother took our engagement photos (he's a photographer) and is putting together a book for us. I like it because not only will I have a really nice book of pictures of me and FH but we will have some nice comments to read and remember!
