I don't understand how some people choose NOT to vote. (people in general, not accusing anyone here!). Its a great freedom to have and so important...

I might be one who chooses not to vote... I don't want to get into the reasons BUT... maybe some don't think it's so important to vote for someone they don't like just b/c the other candidate sucks so bad, ya know?
I am thinking of being completely anti-politics ... which I am on the road to now...

I am kinda liek that. I have never votred. I may this year, but I thikn I'd be votign jsut for teh sake of votign, I don't know nearly enoguh abu tany of the candiates running.
I did shake Jeff Klein's hand this morning.
( Runing for state senate in my district)

I plan to vote, even if there are thugs in my polling place trying to stop me from doing so. I'm bringing lots of 'proof of address' and 'proof of ID' documentation, definitely.

I hear ya!!!! I am taking every form of id that I have to the polls. This is my first year voting in NY so I am covering my behind.

Definitely...BTW, did people receive their voting guides? We didn't get them this year, and neither did anyone we asked at my or DH's office. Did folks on LI get theirs?
