planning on doing that (just want to see what the % of people wearing one is).

Yea I am wearing one. My dress is a-line and the slip holds out the bottom of it.

i don't think i will but i might try it with one when i do fittings and see if i can bare to wear yet another thing under my dress

I think it depends on your dresses material. Mine doesnt need it.

It depends on your dress... mine is an A-Line so I will need a slip....

yes because my dress is a line and has lace detailing. the detailing is 'lost' without the slip since it 'poofs' it out...

not to decide whether a smaller slip or bigger one...hhhmmm how many layers????

probably but not a poofy one......just one to keep the lines of the dress. I am going tonight to try on my actual dress for the first time and Im going to see if in need one.

the woman that is working with me as the dress shop mentioned maybe not wearing one but my dress is a-lined and i definetly want it to puff out a little bit.

I'm wearing an aline dress but I am not wearing a slip. The woman at Davids Bridal kept saying 'you need a slip' I finally just had to come out and say I dont want the damn slip!!

My bridal attendant at the store told me that if you dont' wear a slip, you get 'bridal wedgie' which is when the dress starts to drag between your knees when you walk. I got a simple one piece straight slip but mind is a mermaid gown. I would also think that it might be itchy without one but I guess it depends on the gown and material.
