I'd like to wear mine the whole night, but im not sure.. i want to feel like a bride as long as possible!

I think it's going to depend on whether it will be bothering me during the reception. It's fingertip length so I sould be ok to wear it all night. But if it bothers me I'm taking it off.

I plan on wearing mine through the whole reception- figure it would be a distraction from my arms since my dress is strapless. at least in my head it will be a distraction

It is coming off right after the frst dance. It is pretty long and I am pretty clumsy!

I got a cheapo bleapo veil and although it is nice, I am not the type to wear it all night! I feel like it might annoy me! Plus when people hug...I am scared it will yank on my hair!

I wore mine the whole night and was so glad that I did! I figure that I will never get to wear a veil again (tear)! My hair girl attached it very well...it didn't budge and surprisingly didn't give me a headache...but, to each his own!

i had a two teir veil....i detached the cathedral after photos and then wore the shorter length for the beginning of the reception(first dance, etc.).. i took it off just after dinner. In all honesty i WISH i would've listened to my mother & left it on....because it looked so elegant in pictures, and a majority of the ones at the reception i'm not wearing it... u can see in the photos below..look at the one where i'm NOT wearing my veil & think of how pretty it would have been with it! even just candids of us dancing - i mean, granted the photos are still beautiful - but without it it just looks like somethings missing! ..i look back no & i have NO idea why i was so adament about taking it off...especially that i was so in love with it! wish i woulda listened! Mom's are always right! lol.

agree! I will take it off as soon as it starts to annoy me....which will probably be either during pictures or right before cocktail hour....maybe I will wear it for first dance, not sure yet....

I wore my veil the entire night. I had a separate blusher that I took off during the reception. To me, I was only a bride once and I wanted to wear my veil as long as possible!
