I am thinking about it since I am having them wear it up but I know that they wont want to pay a lot and my place is 100 for an updo....any ideas???

Did you discuss this with them already? Meaning, have you told them that you want their hair a certain way and how much it costs? My BM's are getting their hair done, if someone can't afford it then I am most defiantly am going to pay for it, but they all have pretty much said they want their hair done that day without me asking.
IMO I would discuss it with them and get their thoughts on it first, especially if you are asking them to wear it a certain way because most can't do an up-do themselves and would have no choice but to get it professionally done

they are getting their hair done, and paying for it themself. i am paying for their MU to be done professionally, and they are gonna do their hair. we have a girl coming to the hotel to do it, and it will be $90 per updo.
is the $100 for a salon or for them to come to you?? if it's fora salon, that is quite pricey!
i would talk to your BM's and see how they feel about it.

Try Vivian at Artizan in Merrick. She used to work at Anthony Cole in Bellmore. She does an awesome job! She did my hair for my bro's wedding and it costs $75. I have long hair and she curled it all and pinned it in an up-do. The Salon isn't the nicest place, kind of dated, but she can come to you and she is constantly taking classes, she's great. She is super sweet.

That's all I asked of them as well, I don't care how it is done but, I wanted it professionally done.
Since your wedding is on a Friday, I would suggest having your girls go to a salon. When I did research, I found prices from $60-$75. We're all going to a salon actually to get our hair done. My mom didn't want too much chaos in the house that morning and I figured we can all go at the same time and get done quicker!

I didn't demand that anyone get their hair or make-up done. My bm's are all very beautiful girls with good taste, so I knew that no one would look sloppy. If you look in my album, you can't tell who got their hair and make-up done, and who didn't. Hair is very expensive, so there was no way I would require it. I guess if I had a BM who had crazy hair or something, I might have pushed the issue.
Also, no one noticed the bm's hair. Everyone just commented on the amazing dresses I picked. The color was everything. Everyone's different, though, so do what you are comfortable with, just be understanding if they can't afford it.

I sent out a BM news letter telling them that I wanted their hair in updo's and the place I am going to for my hair charges $55.00 for an updo and if they would like to get it done at the same place to let me know SO I can reserve a 'chair' there...also Their M/U is $45.00 but if they want to go to their own salon to let me know either way...not Sure it this helps...

Yes and I'm paying for it. Usually it is about $75+ at the salons so $100 seems about right
