Are your desks at work

neat or a mess.

Mine is a mess. I have piles of paperwork all over the place. People make fun of me for it.

My desk is neat, the floor around is not, there are piles of folders and workpapers.

Looking around mine its really bad. Ok for the new year I have to clean up my desk. So that is my mission for next week.

Mine is the neatest around... I cleaned it last week after freaking out b.c there were papers everywhere! I steralized everything and just straightened up.

I thrive in organized chaos. So to the uneducated eye, my desk looks like a mess but it's really an intricate filing & sorting system

i guess clean. there are cleaner than i am and there are really disorganized desks here. i'm in the middle.

Mine is sooo organized. And I share a classroom with another teacher and I even organize that room for him and I.

Messy.
only one part of my desk is clean. it's called my working area. but as people come with more stuff gets tossed aside and starts to pile up.

A clean desk is the sign of an employee with no work to do. Um, at least that's my motto.

It varies. Depending on how many cases I have that I'm working on at the same time, it can be covered from one end to the other with papers. On the rare occasions that I'm slow, I do a major cleaning and organize all my files and surface areas. However, it's usually back to messy again within a few days. But I always know where everything is. Unfortunately, in my field, there are extremely short deadlines and I can get a case today and have to draft a motion or an answer that must be in court the very next day, so time is usually of the essence.
