My daughter booked Fine Arts for the video and their largest package. Then she even needed to add on some, so you an imagine when I say it's costing her a fortune. In the end she was told there would be an additional charge for engagement pictures. Please tell me your experiences.

I found most photographers include their engagement pictures in the prices. Ours were included but for the price we're paying, they better be.

our engagement photo shoot was included (ended up being I think 18 pictures) we got the proofs and one picture is going to be blown up....i dont remember what size.

mine were included from Fine Art and I chose one of their middle packages...not sure why yours isn't but maybe in the last year they have made some changes. My brother also had them included in his Fine Art package - he didn't take them and they substituted more enlargements to replace it.

I'm using DUET. They call it a casual day, I think its about $200, you get all your proofs (not sure how many). They also can take one of these pics and blow it up for a sign in board.

We had an engagement picture session that was included and we got the proofs back but if we want to blow any up, we have to pay for it. They gave us a list of prices depending on the size (5x7, 8x10), if we wanted it on a big sign-in board, etc. I had been under the impression that when they said e-pics included, that meant an actual picture, not just the proofs. But, we're not doing a big portrait anyway so it didn't matter.

Mine are included...they say they are also considered a practice session so the photographer can get a feel for the couple.

I would say its half half. Of the photographers I have been to or spoke with 2 included it 2 did not. However I am surprised that for getting the biggest package it wasnt thrown in as well.

My engagement session was free along with a free 8x10 with Patken Photography.
