Good morning ladies! I was wondering if your guys vests and/or ties will be matching the girls dresses? My girls are wearing sky blue. What is everyone else doing? TIA

the vests will be real close to the color. my girls will be in apple (maroon) the guys vest will be a maroon color)

Nope.. the girls are in pink. The guys protested. The guys will have black vests with a silver and black tie.
I added a link to my album with the pictures of the tuxes. The pic of the black vest with the silver striped tie is it... But the jacket will match the one that Fh is wearing. The dads will be in the plat. vest and tie that my dad is wearing. The girls will be in the first dress in a dark rose color with the same color sash.
I don't think so. The girls are in aubergine (purple). I think they guy are going to be wearing platinum or black ties.

Our groomsmen will not be matching the ladies. They will be in black vests. Their boutenierres (sp) will coordinate with the bouquets. FH will wear a white vest.

I want to do grey/silver vests with pale pink ties. my girls are wearing pink. I am not even sure if this is possible yet... we have not even looked at a tux yet!

No my girls are wearing pink so the groomsmen are wearing silver vest and tie and groom is wearing white vest and tie and dads are black on black and the ringbearer too.

all my girls were in different colors, so we got the guys ties that would match the girls with whom they would be walking down the aisle.

My guys did not match my girls. My girls wore Bill Levkoff euro red and the guys were in Platinum. Personally matching tuxes look promish to me, just my honest opinion.

My groomsmen are not matching the girls. Probably in black suits w/black ties. Neutral colors, I think it looks a little funny when everyone matches!! just a little fruity for me. JMO though!!

My girls are wearing lilac and plum colored dresses. The guys will wear silver vests and the boutteneires (I never can spell it) will coordinate with the girls.

Nope. My girls are wearing sky blue dresses and I'm having the guys wear black vests. FH is wearing gray. If was having maybe a red dress for the girls I might have the guys match, but i don't like them in sky blue vests.

i think it would look better. my bm are wearing wine, my fh and his bm and rb are wearing wine colored vests, my fh is wearing a black bowtie and bm,rb are wearing wine bowties.

i think it depends on the color - i agree that when it is too matchy-matchy, it looks like prom. If it is a neutral color like champagne, i think matching is ok. If it's red - no way. JMO.

This is exactly how ours will be. The only thing I'm debating on is whether the ring bearers should wear silver, white, or black.

no, my girls are wearing pink and the guys are wearing black tuxes with silver/gray vest and tie, and I think the girls might wear silver shoes to tie it all in, and of course the guys will be wearing pink flowers if I have my way!
