Area Rug Placement...
I have hardwood floors throughout my house and am now at the point where I am looking for area rugs for each room. I've looked at other peoples homes and seen several pictures in magazines and I noticed that some rooms have smaller area rugs in the middle of the room with the furniture directly in the floor, while others have larger area rugs with the furniture on the rug or some have the furniture half on the rug and half off. Is there any rule on where or how they should be placed? Should they aways be centered or does anything go?
