I was thinking FH would propose around our 5 year anniv but he ended up doing it a few months earlier once we realized Summer 08 was the best time for us to get married.

I'm just bothered but it b/c he had the ring since june... my mother gave hers to him. and when he was drunk at drv0716 wedding he told me when he is going to do... this is the one thing i really really want from him.

Good luck! Just let it happen. You want it to be a surprise. Its one of the best moments of your life, and you want to experience the sheer joy of being surprised, and knowing that he took the time an energy to plan something really special for you.

He's going to do it soon. I agree that you just let it go with him for now & I bet he's going to do it by the end of the month. If you feel like you need to rant about it, call me instead of saying anything to him. Bugging him is my job I really think that he's just trying to think of the right way to do it. Adam did the same thing. He held onto my ring for a few weeks trying to make things perfect, and I'm so glad he did because that moment was so special when it did come. Believe me when I say it goes so fast. Your wedding day will be here in the blink of an eye!
