You guys might remember I posted a few weeks ago about my prong shifting on my e-ring...well today I tried on my wedding band (sorry to share this but I want to explain why, I am nice and bloated today and I wanted to see if I would have trouble with the ring each month LOL) anyway...I have the ring on for like 2 minutes and I go to take it off and put it back in the box...and a diamond fell out! We got the e-ring and the bands from the same person! I am infuriated, what if I did not try it on today, this could have happened on my wedding day!

Sorry to hear that! FH says that if that would have happened the day of your wedding, the shop should have payed for that. However, he also said that you have to be careful with the progs ... if you hit them to hard on something, or they get caught on something, they can shift of be pulled, all depending on how they were made, and how the hold the stones. FH just gave me my e-ring, which he made because it is one of his hobbies, and although he got the cast because he did not have the equipment to creat his own, he had to work on the prongs and that is why he knows about it.
Now, I would recomend you to have a serious talk with your jewlery maker ... that a stone falls off just like that ... it is not nice, may be they did the job in a rush ... they should have tried the estability of the stones before giving you the ring!

Debbie, You obviously need to do 2 things: 1-Go back to your jeweler. This should NOT happen! 2-Find a new jeweler

Holy Moly, you could have lost a diamond if you werent at the jeweler! You should be mad, and let this jeweler have it!!! I hope you find a better one!

Its a good thing this guy is in NJ, cause if he was around the corner I would feel bad for him tomorrow! I have had it with this jewler, Jenn, I already told FH we are getting a new one!

Geesh I'm so sorry Debbie That shouldn't be happenning I'm very rough w/my e-ring but it was set very well, and I haven't had any problems. Your diamonds definitely should NOT be falling out the 1st time you wear it
New jeweler is definitely in order !!!!! Good Luck
