Argh. Kinda-sorta friend vent.
One of my best friends is a guy. We'll call him Adam, because well...that's his name. (Hi, lurkers!) Adam and I have been friends for, oh...14 years or so. He has this annoying twat of a friend, a girl we'll call Jamie (also 'cause that's her name) who I've only met a few times but cannot tolerate.
Why? Because she treats him like crappola and cancels on him at the very last minute for many plans - big things, like concerts...things that you buy tickets for MONTHS in advance - leaving him with no one to go with until I step in and go with him. I also don't like her because before a concert (that she showed up to, imagine that!), she decided to involve herself in the business of some friends of mine who she didn't even know. Irritating. Pretty much everyone I know who has met her doesn't like her.
So five minutes ago, Adam calls me and asks if a) I can be nicer to her and b) can she get a ride back from the PJ shows in Philly with FH and I.
I was like 'you gotta be fcuking kidding me...you know I hate her!' meanwhile he's telling me how important it is for her and I to at least be civil. I can be civil. I'm civil most of the time. But when a person starts acting like Lady Douchebag, I'm going to say something.
And FURTHERMORE, like I want my post-concert drive home ruined by her and her loud-a$$ mouth.
I told him that I'd leave her a$$ on the side of the road, so she'd better buy a bus ticket.
Mothereffers. He doesn't get that I don't like her mainly because of how she treats him.
Hope she can lay off the bong long enough to get to the Greyhound counter at the bus station!
