i moved my laptop from my bedroom to my living room this morning...plugged it in and it says that im on batteries...ive checked the outlet, checked the plug to make sure its in and it still says im on batteries (which is now saying that the battery is low so my computer might shut off) i dont get it??? any ideas??

the outlet is not switch operated..i tried somethig else in the same outlet to make sure it was working and it did...and ive checked the cords like a million times..i dont get it!

I agree, I know in our LR if the switch close to the outlet is down the power is off. The same in our bedrooms. The wierd thing is it's only three outlets and not all of them in the apartment.

I have the same problem. I think it either the end of the plug or something inside of the comp itself.
Try fiddling with the plug right where it goes into the labtop. It shoud come on when you find a spot. Then this mean you need to change the cord itself.

im on it now and thats not working either arghhh and im fiddling with the plugs too...sont even tell me its something inside my computer

ok soo weird but now its working...i shut it down and restarted a few times..but for some reason when my computer shut down itself i hit the ac adapter thing and when i tried to turn it back on..it worked!! woohoo haha thanks girls

That happen to me with my old laptop and there was some thing wrong with my wire. I had to wiggle it a certain way for it to charge. It became so annoying. I had the company send me a new one. Everything worked then.
