arghhh - my HM return flight connector is no longer operating!
We're flying direct non-stop from JFK to Rome, but we're returning to JFK from Florence and there are no direct flights. They just don't exist.
We were supposed to connect in Paris, but I just got an email this morning that one of our flights - the leg from Paris to JFK - is NO LONGER OPERATING!
I have the expedia.com travel agents trying to find me another flight out of Florence because we NEED to be home the day of our original flight - FH has to work the next day!
I'm waiting for her to call me back, and I feel like the most impatient person in the world right now!

Ugh, how frustrating! I hear this happens pretty often and am not looking forward to that!

still waiting....
while I'm waiting, I did some research on my own - the price of flights has DOUBLED since I booked my trip 2 months ago! They BETTER get me something else at the same price, or they're going to hear itttttt

I'm glad I'm not the only one that see it! I was beginning to think I was paranoid or something.
I got a call back that they can move our reservation to a flight that leaves and arrives 3 hours later.....meaning we'd get home from the airport around 11pm, and FH has to be at work the next morning. I feel so badly for him!
I still haven't recevied an updated itinerary/confirmation # though...they're getting another call in the morning!
