argument with my mom

so last night, i had my first dress fitting. i went with my mom and a family friend. We were in a small room in the back of the store and at one point it got very warm in there. The alterations lady asked my mom to open the door half way.

my mom opened the door all the way so people could see me. Granted i was fully dressed, but i didn't feel comfortable with that and asked my mom to close the door half way.

she started arguing with me and FINALLY gave up and closed it half way.

then 10 mins later, she did it AGAIN

this time, when i asked her to close the door half way, she called me bridezilla and started being really obnoxious and annoying about it.

so yeah, that made my frist fitting that much awesome-er

was i wrong to ask her to close it half way?

no i dont see what the problem with u asking to close the door was.

That wouldn't have bothered me. I'd open it. I don't care. I couldn't care less if other people at the bridal salon saw me.

Agreed. I'd rather people see me than be sweating all over my dress. But I know that's not exactly the point of the story- my mom called me bridezilla over every little thing. I think the wedding planning is pretty hard on them, too.

they always find a new thing to call u just cause ur arguing with them. so during the wedding process its bridezilla, and during any other time its something else.

NO!!!! Thats ridiculous. Dont let that argument get to you .. by no means were you out of line at all ... SHE was out of line by acting that way at something that shouldve been fun for you ... Im sorry

just try to keep your cool as best you can. its always the silly little things that stir stupid arguments. ughhhh
