When arguing with your FH/DH...have you EVER screamed in his face?
(I know this sounds like a strange question, but I NEED to know )
My answer...YES

Re: Arguments
Never, ever and never will. Not my style. I spent too much time getting that from my ex and I always hated it so I wouldn't do it to someone else.

Re: Arguments
Thanks for your replies ladies. This has happened for the first time with my FH and I and although I know it was wrong of me to do, he very , VERY upset by this and is comparing it to being unfaithful
Again, I know it's wrong but I think it's not as uncommon as he thinks.
Please keep the replies coming.

Re: Arguments
not so much screamed but we have both gotten annoyed and spoke 'loudly' - as soon as we do it though we realized!!

Re: Arguments
Never. Actually, I've never screamed in anybody's face. It's just not the way I react to things. If I'm feeling anger that strongly, I usually break down in tears before I get to the point where I would scream at someone.

Stacey.........How can he compare the two?
I have screamed in my husbands face and you can bet your as* he deserved it! In fact, if he got you that mad and that is ALL you did.......he got off easy!

Mo, I don't see how the 2 can be compared either, but I guess I can't tell him how to feel...?
Yes I was pi$$ed, but I overreacted. I just want to see if I am the only one who's flown off the handle.
Please keep the honest responses coming...do the poll!!
Thanks ladies

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
Once during an argument, DH raised his voice and that scared me because he never raises his voice when we argue. I don't like screaming because I feel that screaming won't get my point across, plus I don't want the neighbors to hear us arguing.

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
i find the silent treatment much more effective.
in your case, can you tell him you knew you overreacted and you're sorry for screaming in his face, but explain to him that he can't compare screaming to being unfaithful....i think you two need to cool down and then discuss this rationally - you both may be too emotional just yet

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
Honestly???
All the time..
We both get very heated during arguements and he screams a lot. I do too. But its just our way.
We get over it two minutes after the fact.

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
I am bad. I get all wound up and then (normally when I am pms'ing I can get really pissy and yell).
I need to chill out sometimes. It's all this wedding stressssssss!
Oh yes we get over it too very quickly. I think only once did we go to bed mad at each other.

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
We have been in a couple of screaming matches - only once I literally screamed in his face though.
Yelling and cheating have NOTHING in common!!! I hope your DH realizes this.
I am sorry you are having such a rough day

Re: Arguments...PLEASE take poll
I'm a screamer, but then again, I'm just LOUD in general, I think I scream because that is how my family just talks in general. I'm not saying it's right, I am just saying that sometimes I don't even know when I'm doing it. But he tells me and I stop. But usually it's me screaming at the tv or something like that.
