Argyle Park question

Hey ladies, I'm thinking of taking pictures before my ceremony (which is at the CLM) at Argyle Park in Babylon. Has anyone seen pics done from there? What did you think? Also do I have to call the town to reserve and is there a fee?

Thanks so much ladies

I go running in that park and I always see brides there. I'm sure the pictures will be beautiful.

it's good to get family shots, bridal party shots... since they all line above the fountains. But other than that there are not a lot of places for pictures. Last time I was there the lake has lots of duck poop around it...
You could always gets some shots there and at the gazebo across the street, and you could look into maybe Venitian Shores to get some shots o the beach.

It is a really beautiful park, and close to town and the dock so you have the ability to take pictures there too... but watch for all the poop!

Re: Argyle Park question

my aunt did her pics there, and we were supposed to do prom pics there, but it rained... and FH and I did a mock photo shoot there a few years ago when he was messing around with the camera.

like the others have said- what out for geese droppings... it really is EVERYWHERE.

there is no fee or scheduling.

lots of brides take their pictures there, like some of the above have mentioned, there's really only a handfull of spots to take pictures. there's the main 'bridge' thats over the 'waterfall'.. then there's a little patch of grass that overlooks the pond thats big enough for a decent sized party- oh WATCH OUT for loose grass close to the edge of the pond.

I used to do a show at the gazebo every year and I was walking in my costume and shoes and stepped down and my leg fell into a hole next to the pond... the following year (on the other side of the pond) it happened to another dancer. but this was 10+ years ago

the gazebo across the street i think is just go on your own, but that I'm not sure of.
