ARHGHGHHG!!!

I tried to add $40 to my metrocard this morning, and the stupid machine took my money, and didn't add the value to the card. So I go to the window, and the guy tells me that I have to call 212metrocard and they'll credit my account. So I just call and they tell me I have to go back to the token booth, get a prepaid envelope, fill everything out and wait 60 days for a refund!

So I'm out 40 bucks for travel this week, I lost a transfer from my express bus, AND I have to wait 60 days for a refund?!

ARGHGHGHGHGGHGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL AM I PAYING FOR?!

I'M PISSED THAT I ADDED SO MUCH AT ONCE!!!!! IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY 4 BUCKS A RIDE ON THE DAMN BUS THAT TAKES ME 30 MINUTES TOO LONG I'D HAVE ADDED LESS!!!!

Oh god..i feel your pain. I had a 50 metrocard just konk out on me. The guy at the booth could SEE on his computer that the value was there but he couldnt give me a new card. All he gave me was that envelope. Guess what? Im still waiting!!

The guy at the booth didn't even give me the envelope! He said that I just had to call, and the woman on the phone is yelling at me that I need to send the card in. WHY CAN'T THEY FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO A REFUND AT THE BOOTH, LIKE A STORE REFUNDS YOU AT THE REGISTER? IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!!!
