Re: ARIANA WATERFALLS
well the fi and i went today. the outside isn't great but when you enter it looks beautiful. i have heard some mixed reviews (2 or 3) so i was trying to get some more opinions. the price is good and i like the fact that it is only one wedding at a time. but i would like to know more about service, food and the recommended vendors.

Well even if I don't know about the place itself we might be able to help you with recommended vendors. Who do they recommend?

Re: ARIANA WATERFALLS
thanks guys i will have to get back about the recommended vendors. They do seem to be quite busy. they are booked solid for sat. in may and june 2004. and when fi and were leaving a couple was coming in. they also had a wedding this evening. the manager also was very nice. no pressure at all. unlike some other places i went to.

Re: ARIANA WATERFALLS
me and fiance went in to check it out, we didnt let it bother us the outside, and we liked that the price was low. however he starts telling us ' the prices are going to go up, they're soon going to increase 10 or 15% or so, but if you book with us within the next month, we'll cap the increase at 5%.... that upset me a little. I like the inside but it seemed like pressure tactic and i though someone on the boards once posted that they had to close down once...

Re: ARIANA WATERFALLS
If this is the one in West Hempstead, i have been there for dinner and breakfast (when they used to serve to the public dont know if they do that anymore, but the food was TERRIBLE, and my parents had the same experience) also something else you should think about is that they have been closed down a number of times, but i do not know why...
Sorry

Re: ARIANA WATERFALLS
They used to be called something else, and i cant for the life of me remember the name of it.. same owners, and there was a rumour about some kind of gambling thing, again this is a RUMOUR... then they redid the place and changed the name then they closed down again...Each time i was there the service was bad and so was the food.. but each person has different tastes and the management may have changed.. Give it a look, and if it is still a resturant also DEFINALTY go for dinner before making a desicion... and Good luck!
