Re: arm fat
Arm fat really is an evil thing! It upset me at my first fitting. It's not all of my arm, just where your arm meets your pits/bust. Yuck!

Re: arm fat
Sounds as though you're referring to 'Teachers' Arm.' I admit I coined that term years ago. I remember, as a child, watching teachers write on the board in spring & early summer months. I remember watching intently as their arm flab flew from side to side; I was mesmerized. I couldn't understand why their arms did this, but decided it must affect only teachers.
As an adult, I've realized we all get 'Teachers' Arm' unless we work out (sadly I don't do that any more).
Interestingly, it was when I was a teacher that I first noticed that I'd been afflicted with Teachers' Arm. I changed careers, but I still have the flapping flab :(

Re: arm fat
this woman I used to work with called arm fat 'bye bye arms'
Sorry, I just had a flashback and burst out laughing!
and btw, that's why my dress will have sleeves. I can't even bear to imagine my arms in a strapless!

Re: arm fat
I came up with this great way to hold your arms, I am sure it isn't new. I was looking in the mirror, and if you hold your bouquet at around your chest, with your elbowsout a bit your arms are not swished against the rest of you. Thus, less noticable arm fat

Re: arm fat
Someone once told me the secret to getting rid of arm fat is swimming...and I think it works. Me and a bunch of my friends swim a few times a week just for this reason! Just a half hour or so a few times a week does the trick!

My dress is strapless, but I'm having a wrap made at least for the ceremony and formal pics. We'll see how long it lasts during the ceremony.

Re: arm fat
why does it always spread so far out when your arms are down at your sides???? Kinda like when ya wear shorts and sit down...the shorts disappear and your thighs grow to 2 times their normal width....

Re: arm fat
I call them 'Bingo Arms'...
Like when an old lady shouts and raises her arms- BINGO!
Anyway- it is unavoidable-- I work out and the back of my arms cannot get toned-- despite working out every muscle group and doing push ups everyday-- don;t get me wrong- they are improved-- but I do not have sculpted arms-- but my biceps are in pretty good shape..

Re: arm fat
Sorry I can't help you here. I don't have a single ounce of arm fat. The best solution would be to work out and stop eating so much. If you do about 100 push ups a day like i do, you can lose the fat. Good Luck! bump
