Was the time you put on your invitations the same time as your ceremony was set to start?
My ceremony is starting at 6:30 but I put 6 p.m on the invitations to accomodate those people who tend to run late (I have quite a few in my family) but now that all of my invitations are printed I'm regretting doing that. All I can think of is people sitting there for a half hour twiddling their thumbs.
If you did this how did it work out for you??

Re: arrival time on invites
I put the exact time...and then thought OMG should I have put later (since that's what my friend did)
But then my mom was like its not fair to those who are on time...Give it 15 mins...and if their behinds aren't in their seats then they will miss out.
Hence my QOTD post....I do not like lateness..and if you can't leave early to make it on time once in your life...then your loss!

i put the exact time and for the most part, people were on time except for some (1 being the flower girl AND ring bearer's parents ) and one of our sponsors

Re: arrival time on invites
I put 11 am for a 11:30 ceremony. If you're having your ceremony at your recption hall, most places put out some drinks and light snacks for the 30 minutes.

Re: arrival time on invites
We put a half hour earlier on ours. My sister did on hers as well, and let me tell you, it was a blessing she did. Don't regret it. Believe me, no one knows the difference.
