Anyone else have this frustration....
I've been working out hard core- controlling everything that goes in my mouth...
and just when I am feeling so thin, I step on the scale and WHAM - I'm either the same weight
or heavier!
I can't take it - so depressing. don't know what to do!

Re: arrrrgghhh

god- seems like my whole life! lol

I've been up and down- always staying in about the same range.

Now I'm trying to get below that range - for about a month now - with some bad days but pretty much for a month.

I'm feeling like I shouldn't get on the scale - cause it just stops me cold!

Wow! Are we the same person?

As I like to say, I have been trying to lose the same 20lbs since i was a teenager. I am going thru the same thing right now, I am losing but it is soooooo slow. I really need to get motivated - do you feel like you are really motivated and committed?? That so important. Are you on WW? I am on it kinda - but havent been attending meetings or writing my points down and that makes a difference - when I do that, I really lose weight. The only thing consistent is curves...

Ladies, remember that muscle weighs more than fat! So if you are working out hardcore, you may not see the numbers drop a lot, but you will see the difference in your body. That said, are you doing low reps with high weight? That will bulk up your muscle, make you look bigger. Do a lot of reps on low weight, that will tone and strengthen at the same time.

Also, whenever starting a vigorous routine, your weight will take longer to come down. It might even go up before coming down. Have patience - your hard work will pay off!!!

I second what emdonlon said.. you have to go by how you look and feel.. and measure yourself.. get a body fat test...
