Arthur Murray Dance-Pushy?

Did anyone take lessons at Arthur Murray?

I liked our dance instructor during our evaluation time but they were soooooooooooooo pushy with this package that it turned us off.

They were trying to give us way too many classes (including group lessons and some other kind of lesson) that we would never be able to attend.

The quoted price was only good for that day. Now that time has passed, I believe we have to pay a few extra hundred dollars?

Just wondering if anyone else used them or had a similar experience.

YES!

FH and I went for the intro package which was like $300 and then when it was over they wanted to charge us $2900 for 20 lessons and then those groups and parties and stuff and everytime we were like 'we'll havhe to think about it and we'll call you back' The guy would tell us that we could pay it in installments and stuff (but then they charge you interest btw)

Needless to say we didn't go back. We found a private instructor in our neighborhood instead.

OMG!!! THATS EXPENSIVE!!!!

Honestly, MY FH and I go to Adelphi....its not the best but its $100/couple for students, $200 for non-students....we get lessons every friday since Jan up until April 27th....can't beat that!
