For those who are pregnant, I thought you may find this interesting!
Unfortunately, since I am at work, I can't post the exact article, but I can tell you it was in Woman's World this week in the health section.
The FDA (I believe or panel of Dr's) say that eating soft cheese while pregnant is now OK as long as you check to make sure it is made from pasturized milk. Listeria isn't popular in cheeses like Brie and Bleu Cheese as they had thought...
Like I said, I will post later with either a link or the exact wording of the article!
Of course, like anything is depends on your Dr and what he thinks. I always happen to find it interesting that one month you can eat something and the following you can't while pregnant.

Re: Article on soft cheeses
My doctor actually told me that about listeria in soft cheeses and cold cuts. He said that with the say food is regulated in the United States that the chances of listeria in quality cold cuts and pasteurized soft cheeses is very slim. But that of course magazines and books would err on the safe side being that they're read in other places besides the U.S.

Re: Article on soft cheeses
I just find it crazy on how different Dr's have such different rules. To be honest, my Dr never gave me a list...and yet my boss received a 10 page letter (seemed like it) on what she couldn't eat.
