Good article...thanks! They say that Long Island was so far below market and that is why housing prices jumped the way they did... so who knows. For some reason I think housing prices may slow on LI but I don't believe they will burst.

I would say once this happens:

The group said 23 percent of homes purchased last year were bought as investments or second homes. The report suggested that many people are buying homes for quick turnarounds, much as they'd plunk money into rising stocks.

It's a bubble!!!
