What do you girls think of this? FH's bestman and his new wife did this and i never thought of it before....they have their centerpiece from the wedding displayed in their house now and it looks beeeautiful....it must be nice to be able to keep that and not worrying about it dying....I didn't even know they were fake at the reception, I just realized it when I saw the centerpiece in their house afterwards...i'm sure it saved them a bundle! Are any of you planning on doing this? Do you know any vendors that offer this? I haven't been to a florist yet so I don't know what to expect..

I am all for it especially after seeing my sister spend over 2k on flowers for the tables to watch them die a week later.
One of my friends did fake and it looked good. My FH and I were seriously considering it until we decided we want to do a beachy theme with candles and shells.
You actually can go to AC Moore buy the flowers and vases and they will arrange them for you.

im doing artificial flowers for everything bu tthe guys bouttinears..just because silk ones dont lay right
its a silly expense and the way i see it..im only going to be spending like 200..and im doing a mix of silk flowers and candles as centerpieces..
i can put what eould have been my flower budget towards a la carte photog stuff..

Fake flowers as centerpieces is somthing I will be looking into. I don't want them to look cheesy though. I am going to go look and maybe do a trial and see how it turns out. My step-mom used to be in the party planning business and made lots of centerpieces so she will be helping me.
