Artisan vs. Duet (photography)

Ladies I just wanted to know if y'all can post pros/cons for each of the above photographers. I'm especially interested if you already had your wedding or if you already booked.

Thanks so much!!!!

I think you have to meet with them and see. They're very different.

they both have a more candid and photjournalistic style, but the other detaisl are very different. As far as I know, Duet is all digital. At Artisan, they shoot it all on fi;m and then convert it to digital, so you can get all of thopse cool digital effects and the coffee tbale books etc, but you ge the richness and depth of film. And so you get the fi;m negatives, the proofs pritned and you get your proofs posted online for free.

For me the film makes all the difference.

You have to tlak to each photog. I only briefly spoke with duet at a bridal show, so I don't know that much about them, but ai know Chuck at Artisan is so passionate about it, and he;s very prepared and very professional, he uses 3 different cameras with 3 different lenses for most variety of shots. You can also add a dedicated black and white fi;m photojournalist for pretty cheap.

Duet is not all digital.... they can bring a digital camera if you want, but other than that they shoot film.

ETS: Sorry I didn't answer your question. I also say meet with both and see who you feel more comfortable with. Brides on here have been happy with both.

Actually they shot both digital and film. All the black and whites are on film and the rest is half film/half digital. At least this is what they told me?

Re: Artisan vs. Duet (photography)

I just met with Duet today. I was really happy with them.

I've already met with JoVon, Verdi, and Leli.

My FH is concerned there will be a problem understanding the guys from Duet. The guy we met with has a heavy accent. But was really nice. I think we are going to go with them.

I don't know anything about Artisan.

Sorry
