Hi. I'm getting married October 28th and my fi and I have started thinking about our honeymoon. We are thinking of going to Aruba. Everyone we talk to says that Aruba is gorgeous and that we should definitly go. What I am afraid of is that I think that the end of October is Hurricane Season. Does anyone know when hurricane season is? Do you know if Aruba ever gets hit with a hurricane? Someone told me that Aruba never gets a hurricane? Can anyone recommend a hotel in Aruba?

Brendaa, my travel agent ALWAYS recommends Aruba at any time of year because they are too far south to get hurricanes...my fiance has been there and absolutely loved it!

Hi,
I was also looking into Aruba for my honeymoon. Just curious as to what is there to do in Aruba besides the beach..etc..is there sightseeing? Also I heard the Allegro Resort is suppossed to be nice..how long does it take to get there from NY? Any info would be appreciated.

I am getting married this September and I have booked Aruba for my honeymoon for 10 days at the Allegro resort. I chose Aruba for one main reason which is because September is hurricane season and Aruba is completely out of the hurricane belt so we are almost guaranteed good weather. I know there are more lavish hotels like the Hyatt and the Marriot but I wanted an all inclusive resort and I had heard great things about the Allegro. A great website for you to check out is www.wheretostay.com; it tells you all about different resorts on different islands. It also has reviews on the resort from the people who has stayed there. I found it to be very helpful.
