FH and I are sitting here thinking about our honeymoon, does anyone recommend a resort in Aruba? We originally wanted Sandals Antigua but we're getting married in hurricane season.

Re: Aruba
I just came back from Aruba. We stayed at the Marriot Ocean Club which was beautiful. Our honeymoon was a gift because my uncle has a time share there...so that is why we went there. But..if I go again, I would def stay at the Hyatt. It is gorgeous.

Definitely stay at the Radisson! It's absolutely gorgeous and not as 'stuffy' as the Hyatt!!!

I am doing the TS thing too and I heard that the marriott was way overcrowded... so much so that it was hard to get a chair by the pool after like 9am.. What did you think of the place?

Re: Aruba
I stayed at the Marriot in Aruba and thought it was nice (the first room we were in looked clean and was nice but smelled like mildew)....The hotel was very accommodating and moved us to another room which was a gorgeous suite...Obviously we were both very happy!
I have heard that the Occidental is good.....
Try Trip Advisor I have used when booking many many many trips. It gives you honest opinions and real pics from people who have stayed in the hotels.
Good luck!
OH...PS...If you do end up going to Aruba you HAVE TO have dinner at this restaurant called The Flying Fishbone. (You can rent a car...for very cheap...to get there, which is really easy since you pretty much take one straight road and Aruba is VERY small). Their food and service were outstanding and you eat out on the beach. We made our reservation for the same time as sunset and it was OUTSTANDING...One of the highlights of our trip.
