Aruba?!

Anyone planning on Honeymooning in Aruba?! if so where are you staying? I am planning on booking @ The Hyatt

We are looking into Aruba, poss the Occidental. We have an appt tomorrow with the travel agent to discuss hotels

I went on tripadvisor and I saw some real traveler photo's of the Occidental and it is a beautiful place( esp the pool) but I found it less modern than the Hyatt.

FH and I stayed at the Occidental 2 years ago and LOVED it - it was brand new then and the food and facilities were awesome. Aruba is an amazing place.

we are thinking about Aruba since Hawaii is no longer in our budget The Occidental looks very nice.

We are doing Aruba..'The RIU Palace'....all inclusive resort! Its the newest, and I hear its a 5 star...The best Resort on the Island.

the hyatt is gorgeous! FH and i went to aruba last year and we stayed at the raddisson. we went to the hyatt on easter morning for the sunday brunch - AMAZING

FH and I stayed at the Riu when it first opened in Aruba a year ago - it was beautiful...we had a great time.

I went to Aruba (not for my honeymoon) but may possibly be going back for our HM. I stayed at the Radisson and it was GORGEOUS! The grounds were really beautiful and the rooms were so nice! The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I would also suggest NOT doing all inclusive because the great thing about Aruba is you can leave the resort. The downtown area is a 15 min cab ride from the resorts and there are TRULY AMAZING restaurants and you wont want to be stuck eating every night at your hotel. Plus there are bars to go to. There is shopping as well. FH and I ate out at amazing restuarants everynight. If anyone wants any recommendations on restaurants FM me =))

ALSO MUST DO while your there... The Party Bus called Ku Ku Kinokoo... DONT do the party boat DO the party bus! ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!! Way more fun than the boat! And they get you sooo drunk! LOL You go to a lighthouse that is mountain top for a champagne toast, then you go for dinner and then you go out drinking to 3 dive bars that are SOOOOO much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you dont have to get super dressed up or anything! It was one of the best nights we had...
