My sister took a 2 wk HM there just this past October. She is already making plans for her return for 1 yr anniversary. She loved it! She stayed at the all inclusive Divi Divi Resort. She said they treated the HMers like 'King & Queen' They did a lot of activites with other HMers there. One night, they took all the people celebrating their HM on a fun crazy bus to a castle where they had a romantic dinner waiting and champagne. After that the bus took them to the night life in the city. It was so beautiful as well she said. The weather is always warm. I booked her whole trip for her on Expedia.com She flew out of JFK and for the 2 of them it was about 4K - that included all meals, beach view room, HM package, drinks (ETOH), ect. including most entertainment. They have tons of gambling and all that there.

I've never been to Aruba but decided to book it for my honeymoon because of all the wonderful things we have heard about it. We too were concerned about 'nightlife' and were told from tons of people that Aruba has more nightlife than all the other islands, gambling, dinner crusies, bars, clubs, roamntic dinners on the beach, part cruises, etc. We are doing an all inclusive (airfare, hotel, drinks and all meals) for about $4,300. We are staying at the Wyndham. Guaranteed great weather because it is completely out of the hurricane belt. Most people that recommended Aruba to us have been there more than once or can't wait to go back. Good luck! Any more Aruba fans out there?

We stayed at the Marriot and had a wonderful time. We are looking forward to going back there for our honeymoon and plan on staying at the Radisson.

Been there several times, went for my HM in May too, and we just booked a trip for our Wedding Anniversary in May. We are going for 10 days & I can't wait! LOVE ARUBA!!!!!! There is some nightlife there, casinos, A party bus you go on and drink & tour diff places, Tattoo, a dinner/party cruise, carlos & charlies etc. The nightlife there is not by any means Cancun, it's more romantic nightlife.

Aruba i LOVE baby beach:

I am also going on my honeymoon to Aruba- booked at the Divi Divi. Its a hotel right on the beach. I mean you walk out into the sand. That was more of our style since we live in Long Beach. My sister went on her honeymoon there and she loved it!!!

Thats where we are going for nine nights/ten days and we are staying at the Hyatt Resort-I have heard nothing but great things about it. There is also the Radisson and Marriott which are also great. I cannot wait to go--we got a video out at the library on Aruba and watched it. It looks absolutely lovely. Plus, I have heard once you go, you go back! I figured it was a closer flight than Hawaii and a little less expensive!! P.S. I booked everything myself online-no travel agent!
