I'm staying at Marriott. I heard Riu is better. Both are good though from what I've read and researched. Hyatt has really small balconies. Heheh I love BIG balconies.

Re: ARUBA GIRLS
I've heard great things about the Riu and the Hyatt is beautiful. I'm not staying at either though. I don't know if the Riu is all inclusive, but the food on the island is superb if you don't want to do an all inclusive.
ETA - I found out that 'French' balconies (which some of the hotels have) do not have a seating area. You can just stand there. FYI

yes I was told that the Hyatt has the small balconies that you can only stand in...........Riu apparently has bigger ones that you can have breakfast or a meal on......

Re: ARUBA GIRLS
I've stayed at the Hyatt and Marriott multiple times, both are beautiful, never had a compliant. One of the two (sorry can't remember which) has a private beach that they take you to by boat, I liked that b/c it was just hotel guests on the beach.

That was a concern for me - The Radisson has the bigger balconies too.

Re: ARUBA GIRLS
originally we were going to jade mountain in St Lucia.......then we planned our summer trip (next july) to Italy and Greece.....we are going for about a month and staying in about 6 different places, in addition to visiting fam and what not.....
since jade was so expensive, we axed it and decided to save some $$$ on the HM since Europe will cost us a fortune next summer......
Then we were looking into Aruba and Hawaii..........still looking but we are leaning towards Aruba (i think) Any input?

Re: ARUBA GIRLS
I think Aruba is a great choice. I will bump the thread I wrote about Aruba. My friend goes there every year and she gave me a detailed list of restaurants we MUST go to and other things. Aruba has amazing food from what I've heard so I dont recommend inclusive.
I booked our trip through CheapCaribbean.com for 2000 bucks flight and hotel for 7 days!!
Check it out. They have the Riu, Hyatt, Radisson, Marriott on their site. Just look under deals.

Re: ARUBA GIRLS
We're going to Aruba and staying at the Hyatt, I did a lot of research and decided it looked like the nicest hotel there. I don't think you can go wrong with most of the other nice hotels there either though.
